Centre for Economics, Environment and Society (CEES) is registered as a no profit organisation working in the interface of economics, environment and society. Its mission is to address the development and environmental challenges facing governments and societies, and promoting environmentally sound and socially just development, human well being and sustainable development. CEES is guided in its mission and work by a distinguished panel of international and national experts.
Aims:
1.To undertake research, teaching, training, outreach and other activities to address the development and environmental challenges facing governments and societies.
2. To conduct courses and training programmes to upgrade skills and knowledge of scholars, researchers, policy makers, NGOs,
etc.
3. To conduct seminars, workshops, conferences, dialogue and other programmes.
4. To promote dialogue and undertake research and other activities to bridge the gap between the natural and social sciences, and between science and policy.
5. To undertake programmes and activities to promote environmentally sound and socially just development, and human well being and sustainable development.
